Wow, thank you so much. I’m just another progressive thinker with a heart.  It definitely bugs me that people are defending Joe Paterno because that’s just insulting and insensitive to the victims who are alive, not that they care that much about those victims otherwise they wouldn’t be giving any type of support to Joe Paterno.

And yeah, I don’t like Ron Paul.  I just can’t support regressive bigots.

Yes!  I just mentioned The Ones Who Walk Away From Omelas today when my friend sadly posted a defense/support/tons of excuses for Joe Paterno and I was trying to put focus on the actual victims.  I don’t think he knew what I was talking about though.  He’s not much of a reader.  (He’s not an asshole or stupid.  He’s just… I don’t know.)  I read it a while back and just loved it.

I wish more people would read it.
